STEP 1: Select the idoc segment you need to restrict. In the example below, we selected matmas01 basic type and the E1MARMM segment to restrict.

STEP 2: Goto BD56  tcode and enter your message type.

STEP 3: click on new entries.

STEP 4: Enter your sender and receiver systems, as well as the message type and save.

STEP 5: You can now trigger the matmas IDoc with WE19 or BD10 tcode. Following that, you will notice an IDoc in the WE02 tcode, the E1MARMM segment doesn't get passed to the IDoc.
